On a chilly day in January 2008, the Niagara Peninsula Miata Club (NPMC) was formed by a small group of enthusiastic Miata owners
in the Niagara region of Southern Ontario.  This  club instantly filled a need for an informally organized group outside of the GTA that could attract 'local' members who wouldn't have to drive too far to attend meetings and commence driving tours.

2018 represents the 10th year of the NPMC.  Tradition says the 10th Anniversary is celebrated with 'tin' or 'aluminum', which is completely fitting for this significant milestone for our car club. From humble beginnings with the 5 or 6 Miatas of the original members, the Niagara club has grown 10-fold to over 60, with every generation of Miata MX-5 represented in the club.

The Niagara region is a natural destination for Miata-lovers, with it's twisty back roads, short hills and escarpment views.  It's no wonder that so many Miata's find their way to the scenic Niagara area.
The Niagara region is also ideally located to many scenic excursions, including the beautiful Kawartha, Haliburton and Muskoka regions of central Ontario, the rolling countryside of southwestern Ontario to the Blue Mountains of Collingwood and on to Tobermory at the tip of the Bruce Peninsula.  Within an easy day's drive across the International border are the picturesque Finger Lakes region of New York state, the winding country roads of Pennsylvania and Ohio and the unique New England States.

The continued success of any car club requires active participation of all of the members who bring new ideas for cruises and other events to keep things interesting.  Keep an eye on the club Calendar for special 10th Anniversary Events in 2018. We look forward to the next decade and can only imagine what next generation MX-5's and the Niagara Peninsula Miata Club will bring.
